If you are using PC-Cillin, running Trend-Micro will ensure your files are up to date with the latest version.

I run it at least once a week.

Trend Micro is pretty good but, ESET (aka NOD32) and Kaspersky are better.

I tried there free on line scan, and the one or two times it worked right, I thought it was good. The other eight or nine times it was very unstable, and buggy. Trend micro are a bunch of resource hungry fear mongers. Go with Avg.

it's actually a pretty good program

I have used it b4 and been a beta tester, but I turned in my hat when they would not remove the module that allows the program to block you from visiting web sites that it thinks should be restricted or are deemed malicious........

It actually blocked sites I sometimes visit that didn't meet any of the criteria..and to reach them you have to manually enter each site into an allowed list.

Plus, like Norton and McAfee, it's a little bit of a resource hog.

Try it yourself and decide........
